Media Release - Service with a smile rewarded at TAFE New England
Staff at the Gunnedah Campus will took some time out of their weekly schedules yesterday to congratulate their colleague, Lyn Pengilly, when is awarded the TAFE New England Monthly Staff Recognition Award.
TAFE New England Institute Director, Peter Heilbuth, presented the award to Ms Pengilly who has been commended for her outstanding effort and dedication to students and customers of TAFE New England, in her role as a Customer Support Services Officer.
Each month, TAFE New England takes the opportunity to recognise an individual or team within the Institute whose contribution to their students is above and beyond their day-to-day requirements in areas that include customer service, initiative, excellence, innovation or community service.
TAFE New England Institute Director, Peter Heilbuth, said “I congratulate Lyn on her hard work and dedication to providing our students and customers with outstanding service and also for providing leadership amongst her colleagues”.
TAFE New England could not maintain its reputation as the leading training provider in our communities if it were not for the knowledge and commitment of our staff,” Mr Heilbuth said.
Staff who are nominated for the monthly award have been nominated by their colleagues. The nominations are assessed and awarded by a panel of five staff from across the Institute in various roles.
