TAFE New England staff and students stepped out of the classroom and into the Annual Gala Awards Dinner last Friday night. A total of eight awards were presented by Institute Director, Peter Heilbuth, in front of an audience of 100 students, friends, family and staff. Students and staff from the Tourism, Hospitality and Events section catered for the function, which was held in the state of the art building, Binaalbaa Aboriginal Learning Centre, on the Tamworth Campus.
