Interest in TAFE NSW’s Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care remained strong in 2017, with Deputy Regional General Manager Adam Bennett today revealing it was the most popular course offered in Inverell.

Mr Bennett said the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care had edged out the Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation course to be most popular. The popularity of the Certificate IV in Web-Based Technologies again showed no sign of slowing down to be third most popular.

“The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care was not only extremely popular in Inverell, it’s actually TAFE NSW’s most popular course in western NSW,” Mr Bennett said.

“This popularity is driven by strong industry demand, and the fact that employers trust our training, which can lead to exciting, real-life employment prospects is also a telling factor.”

Mr Bennett noted that interest in the Certificate IV in Government course had remained strong in 2017, while the Certificate II in Kitchen Operations was the big mover, becoming the fifth most popular course in Inverell this year.
