Automotive TAFE NSW Coonabarabran's most popular
For the third successive year, TAFE NSW Coonabarabran’s most popular course has remained the Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation, Regional General Manager Kate Baxter announced today.
Ms Baxter said the course again attracted a lot of interest in 2017 because of strong industry demand and because it provided graduates with exciting employment opportunities.
“The Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation was not only extremely popular in Coonabarabran, it was one of our most popular courses right across western NSW,” Ms Baxter said.
“The course is popular with our students because they enjoy getting hands-on while learning from industry experts in our workshops. Students are also excited by the fact that automotive is a huge growth area in NSW and the quality, well respected training students receive at TAFE NSW can lead to real-life employment opportunities.”
Ms Baxter noted that interest in the Certificate I in Engineering remained strong in 2017, while the Certificate II in Salon Assistant had seen the biggest increase in enrolments and interest of any courses in Coonabarabran this year.
