TAFE New England offers you more ways to study than ever before using TNE Connects!
TNE Connects is TAFE New England's flexible learning platform, and provides you with a range of courses that you can study where and when it suits you. TAFE New England students have every opportunity to gain a nationally-recognised vocational qualification through blended delivery that includes a variety of modes such as video conferencing, local face-to-face workshops, Adobe Connect, Moodle, DeskNow, Word Press Blogs and Catapult.
Unlike traditional distance education, TNE Connects allows you the opportunity to participate in a virtual classroom, take part in class discussions and ask your teacher 'on the spot' questions. You can choose the blended learning option that suits your particular circumstances and receive the support you need to complete your course.
TAFE New England's mobile learning units also travel around the region providing specialist teachers, equipment and resources to different locations. These units have everything needed to conduct training and assessment activities, allowing remote students to access the same equipment and resources as those students who study on campus.

Online Learning with Moodle and Adobe Connect
You can study from your own computer where and when it suits you
- You can join teachers and other students via connected classrooms and receive real time support using Adobe Connects
- You can access course resources via TAFE new England's Moodle platform
- You can seek support from your teacher via phone or email - you'll never have to face the challenges of tertiary study alone.
If you don't have reliable Internet access, we can send your course materials to you to complete your studies via post or email.
Where offered, you can attend your nearest campus for scheduled class sessions
Mobile learning units
Where offered, you can join other students for sessions with your teacher in your area using mobile learning units at your nearest TAFE New England Campus or at a location or business site that suits you.
Some TNE Connects programs are offered completely online which provides students with the freedom to study at their own pace, when and where they like, with easy access to teacher support.
